Admission into Undergraduate Programmes - Entry requirements for degree programmes are five GCE 'O" Levels/WASSCE credits including English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings. However, there are also faculty and departmental requirements for admission into the various faculties and departments. The following are recognized as credit passes; WAEC GCE 'O' (Grade 1 - 6); WASSCE (Grade A1 to C6); AEB and University of London Examinations taken in or after 1973 (Grade A to C).

Admission into Postgraduate Programmes - A good first degree as determined by the Board of Postgraduate Studies.
